FALERO: “CAMBIAR DEL BALASTRO AL BITUMEN EN TRAMOS DE CAMINERÍA RURAL”
El subdirector de OPP José Luis Falero e integrantes de su equipo técnico estuvieron reunidos en Melo con el intendente Yurramendi y otras autoridades departamentales.
Uno de los temas planteados en la oportunidad estuvo relacionado con la determinación del gobierno nacional de “incrementar partidas” fundamentalmente de caminería rural con el objetivo de promover un cambio de la matriz constructiva: “cambiar del balastro al bitumen en tramos de caminería rural por dos razones, una la necesidad de avanzar un paso como país al ir bituminizando caminos rurales, obviamente en forma progresiva, pero también por la realidad que hoy nos marca el cambio climático, que hemos visto que se están dando acontecimientos de volúmenes de agua cada poco tiempo, que destroza y genera un costo de mantenimiento que las Intendencias se les hace insostenible y nosotros como gobierno nacional tenemos que ayudar en esa dirección. Lo hemos acordado y ahora estamos en la preparación de lo que será ese avance”, manifestó Falero, quien reconoció que en materia de costos la bituminización implica un monto “bastante mayor” que el tradicional trabajo de recuperación en tosca básico o extraordinario: “un mantenimiento en tosca se hace dos o tres veces en el año, lo que habitualmente se da pero con estos volúmenes de agua, en algunos lugares, hubo que hacer aún más intervenciones. Entonces, el costo, que es sensiblemente mayor, hay que medirlo no solamente en el año sino que tenemos que empezar como país a medirlo en tiempos más extensos. Por eso, entre los recortes que ha habido a nivel país, a las Intendencia se les ha mantenido y en caminería rural se ha incrementado la partida para que sé de paso y ahora tenemos que trabajarlo en territorio”, enfatizó.
