Directores de diferentes manifestaciones de carnaval hicieron pública una nota, dirigida al intendente José Yurramendi, por la cual comunica su intención de que se mantenga en el cargo de coordinador quien venía desempeñándose en anteriores períodos, el señor Juan Angenor Pimentel.
Con la firma de más de 10 representantes de agrupaciones, se solicita al jefe comunal que se respete lo resuelto en asamblea y aprobado por mayoría; entienden que Pimentel les da garantías en cuanto a la organización de la cita popular.
Además, en la nota solicitan que la Intendencia informe si “podrá seguir colaborando en lo económico y en la logística que sea necesaria”, planteando además la necesidad de saber “cuál sería el aporte económico” que estaría dispuesta a realizar la Comuna para la organización de esta fiesta popular. “Hacemos constar siempre que entienda oportuno, que los recursos económicos que aportaría la Intendencia serían manejado por una persona de confianza de la mencionada como una o de la forma que considere mejor para los intereses de esa intendencia”, se aclara en la nota.
Y finaliza diciendo: “también si no está de acuerdo a lo solicitado, le agradecemos nos pueda comunicar para nosotros saber qué visión tomamos para el futuro. Todo esto lo hacemos con tiempo suficiente, es lo indicado, para poder brindar un espectáculo acorde a lo que es nuestro carnaval”.
