El Sistema Nacional de Emergencias informó que este domingo se produjeron 48 fallecimientos de pacientes con diagnóstico de coronavirus. Hasta el momento son 1.462 las defunciones con diagnóstico de COVID-19 en Uruguay.
De las 48 fallecidos, 21 eran de Montevideo, siete de Canelones, cuatro de Soriano, tres de Rivera y Río Negro, dos de Artigas y uno de Cerro Largo, Colonia, Florida, Maldonado, Salto, San José, Tacuarembó y Treinta y Tres.
Con respecto a los contagios, en esta jornada se llevaron a cabo 12.990 análisis y se detectaron 3.274 nuevos casos de Coronavirus COVID-19.
De estos, 1.599 son de Montevideo, 394 de Canelones, 189 de San José, 147 de Maldonado, 143 de Cerro Largo, 104 de Rivera, 96 de Soriano, 94 de Artigas, 86 de Salto, 78 de Colonia, 71 de Paysandú, 54 de Florida, 53 de Tacuarembó, 41 de Río Negro, 38 de Lavalleja, 36 de Durazno, 32 de Treinta y Tres, 16 de Rocha y 3 de Flores.
“En todos los casos se trabaja en un estricto seguimiento epidemiológico”, indicó el Sinae.
Actualmente hay 32.903 personas cursando la enfermedad, 485 de ellas se encuentran en cuidados intensivos.
CERRO LARGO RECIBIÓ 143 CASOS NUEVOS
Al finalizar el domingo 11/4 Cerro Largo recibió 143 resultados positivos correspondiendo 5- Aceguá, 8- Noblia, 35- Río Branco, 95- Melo.
A la fecha hay 1245 casos activos y el departamento registra 48 fallecimientos desde el inicio de la pandemia.
Los casos activos se distribuyen de la siguiente manera:

11- Tres Islas
17- Fraile Muerto
28- Aceguá
46-Noblia
290-Río Branco
851-Melo
Hay 49 personas internadas en cuidados moderados y 11 personas en CTI (8 – Melo, 1-Treinta y Tres, 1- Minas y 1- Montevideo
Se reitera la necesidad de seguir las recomendaciones sanitarias cómo ser el uso del tapabocas correctamente colocado (obligatorio su uso en espacios cerrados ), mantener distancia social efectiva (2 metros), lavado frecuente de manos, uso de alcohol en gel , ventilar ambientes y evitar aglomeraciones.
La salida a esta situación requiere de la empatía y solidaridad de todos, por lo tanto cada uno de nosotros somos parte de la solución.
