Este martes el Sistema Nacional de Emergencias informó que se realizaron 7.875 análisis y se detectaron 666 nuevos casos positivos de COVID-19 en Uruguay que se reparten en 17 departamentos. De los casos nuevos, 369 son de Montevideo, 92 de Canelones, 38 de Rivera, 24 de Cerro Largo, 22 de Salto, 21 de Durazno, 18 de Tacuarembó, 14 de Maldonado, 13 de San José, 12 de Artigas, 12 de Paysandú, 9 de Colonia, 8 de Rocha, 5 de Río Negro, 5 de Soriano, 2 de Florida y 2 de Lavalleja.
En la presente jornada se confirmaron seis nuevos fallecimientos por COVID-19 en el país, se trata de 4 pacientes de Montevideo de 98, 69, 57 y 55 años, 1 pacientes de San José de 79 años y 1 paciente de Rivera de 64 años.
Actualmente 5.873 personas están cursando la enfermedad y 65 de ellas se encuentra en cuidados intensivos.
Al día de hoy en los 19 departamentos hay casos activos.
CERRO LARGO: 153 POSITIVOS Y UNAS 1000 PERSONAS CUARENTENADAS
Al finalizar el martes 23/2 Cerro Largo recibió 24 resultados positivos correspondiendo: 1- Lago Merin, 11 – Río Branco y 12- Melo.
Actualmente hay 153 casos activos distribuidos de la siguiente forma:
2- Lago Merin
3- Fraile Muerto
6- Noblia
46 – Río Branco
96- Melo
Del total de casos positivos, 13 corresponden a personal de la salud. Se recuerda la importancia de adherir a las recomendaciones del MSP y ante la presencia de síntomas encuarentenarse y consultar con su prestador de salud.
