Este jueves el Sistema Nacional de Emergencias informó que se realizaron 11.462 análisis y se detectaron 1698 nuevos casos positivos de COVID-19 en Uruguay que se reparten en 18 departamentos. De los casos nuevos, 836 son de Montevideo, 125 de Canelones, 119 DE CERRO LARGO, 110 de Rivera, 80 de Río Negro, 74 de Tacuarembó, 59 de Artigas, 57 de San José, 37 de Maldonado, 34 de Florida, 34 de Paysandú, 30 de Durazno, 28 de Colonia, 21 de Treinta y Tres, 19 de Salto, 16 de Rocha, 13 de Soriano y 6 de Lavalleja.
En la presente jornada se confirmaron nueve nuevos fallecimientos con COVID-19 en el país, se trata de 1 paciente de Artigas de 88 años, 1 paciente de Rivera de 86 años y 7 pacientes de Montevideo 28, 70, 73, 88, 90, 95 y 96 años.
Actualmente 11.575 personas están cursando la enfermedad y 151 de ellas se encuentra en cuidados intensivos.
Al día de hoy en los 19 departamentos hay casos activos.
Del total de personas que se infectaron con el virus 64.492 ya se recuperaron y 749 fallecieron.
RECORD DE NUEVOS CASOS POSITIVOS EN CERRO LARGO
Al finalizar el jueves 18/3 Cerro Largo recibió 119 resultados positivos correspondiendo: 2-Aceguá, 2-Noblia, 50 Río Branco y 65- Melo
Actualmente hay 477 casos activos distribuidos de la siguiente manera:
1-Arroyo Malo
1-Fraile Muerto
1-La Pedrera
2-Aceguá
2-Lago Merin
3- Bañado Medina
15-Noblia
156-Río Branco
296- Melo
En el día de ayer se vacunaron 235 personas en Río Branco y 822 en Melo total 1057 en Cerro Largo.
