Este martes el Sistema Nacional de Emergencias informó que se realizaron 6548 análisis y se detectaron 606 nuevos casos positivos de COVID-19 en Uruguay que se reparten en 18 departamentos. De los casos nuevos, 297 son de Montevideo, 56 de Canelones, 51 de Rivera, 30 de Tacuarembó, 29 de Cerro Largo, 28 de Salto, 15 de Artigas, 15 de San José, 14 de Rocha, 12 de Florida, 12 de Paysandú, 10 de Durazno, 10 de Maldonado, 8 de Colonia, 8 de Río Negro, 5 de Soriano, 5 de Treinta y Tres y 1 de Flores.
En la presente jornada se confirmaron siete nuevos fallecimientos por COVID-19 en el país, se trata de 1 paciente de Canelones de 78 años, 1 paciente de Durazno de 83 años, 1 paciente de Río Negro de 66 años y 4 pacientes de Montevideo de 66, 75, 77 y 98 años.
Actualmente 7189 personas están cursando la enfermedad y 75 de ellas se encuentra en cuidados intensivos.
Al día de hoy en los 19 departamentos hay casos activos.
Del total de personas que se infectaron con el virus 51.365 ya se recuperaron y 617 fallecieron.
CERRO LARGO CON 290 ACTIVOS
Además de la confirmación de 29 nuevos casos para el departamento, se supo que en el segundo día de vacunación se inocularon 226 personas en Cerro Largo.
Río Branco vacunó 36 personas de 37 agendados, quedó con un remanente de 592 vacunas. Melo vacunó 224 de 241 agendados, se vacunaron 6 que no estaban en agenda pero si pertenecían a los grupos, o sea que se vacunó a 230 personas quedando con un remanente de 1.482 dosis.
Total de vacunas en Cerro largo 266.
