1340 dosis de la vacuna Sinovac llegaron a la ciudad de Melo durante el fin de semana y tras completar la fase 0, que incluyó la inoculación del personal que forma parte de los distintos vacunatorios que funcionan en el departamento, hoy se inicia la fase de 1 con la vacunación del personal de la educación, aduaneros, policías, militares y bomberos menores de 60 años.
La titular del Centro Tisiológico, Graciela Lamancha, explicó que se trabaja a demanda, por lo que en la medida que avance la campaña, se solicitará nuevas dosis para cumplir con los compromisos agendados: “en el gimnasio de UTU están dispuestos dos vacunatorios, primeramente se procedió a vacunar a todo el personal que integra los equipos de vacunación y que estén dentro del rango, es decir menores de 60 años”, manifestó, confirmando que la vacunación de la población se inició a la hora 8 del día de hoy y se extiende hasta las 22 horas, durante toda la semana: “pienso que la población está respondiendo bien”, agregó.
En el caso del vacunatorio de Melo, se recuerda que el ingreso es exclusivamente por calle Navarrete y la salida por Manuel Oribe.
En la ciudad de Río Branco el único punto de vacunación es en Plaza de Deportes: “son los únicos vacunatorios que están dispuestos en el departamento, por lo que la población de otras localidades deberá trasladarse hacia alguno de ellos”, sentenció.
