El Director del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social adelantó que ya se trabaja, en forma conjunta con la Intendencia, de cara a lo que será la implementación del Plan Invierno.
Según informó Gervasio Rodríguez, la prioridad pasa por satisfacer las necesidades alimenticias de la población de todo el departamento: “estamos concurriendo a todos los municipios, donde tenemos diferentes puntos de atención, todas las semanas estamos concurriendo Noblía, Aceguá, Fraile Muerto porque de idea es atender la emergencia alimentaria que surge de nuestra comunidad y empezar a planificar el invierno, que ya se nos viene, analizando las situaciones de calle, para estar bien coordinado con la Intendencia para poder dar respuesta”, manifestó, destacando el trabajo coordinado que se viene realizando con el área de Gestión Social municipal: “tenemos una muy buena coordinación con la Intendencia, con Gestión Social, hemos estado intercambiando diferentes inquietudes que pasan por el funcionamiento de los comedores, merenderos y también la población en situación de calle para poder atenderlos”, sentenció.
