Tres denuncias fueron aclaradas y una mujer resultó condenada por dos delitos de violencia privada y un delito de rapiña a la pena de 4 años y 4 meses de prisión efectiva.
El pasado jueves 4 de marzo, sobre el mediodía, un hombre de 59 años fue sorprendido dentro de su automóvil en Guardia Nueva y Cándido Monegal por la imputada, quien tras amenazarlo con una trincheta en el cuello le exigió que le diera el dinero que portaba, entregándole éste la suma de $200 pesos, logrando luego de forcejeos sacar a la misma del interior del vehículo y quitarle el arma, dirigiéndose a Seccional 2da donde radicó la denuncia correspondiente. Siendo localizada rápidamente y detenida la mujer, poseedora de antecedentes penales, logrando establecer además en dicha investigación que ésta era indagada por otros hechos de similares características entre sí, dónde tras presentarse en los domicilio de dos hombres les exigía la entrega de dinero.
Sometida ante Fiscalía Letrada de 2do Turno y Juzgado Letrado de Cerro Largo Hanna Nicol Méndez Santana de 19 años fue condenada como autora responsable de dos delitos de violencia privada y un delito de rapiña agravada, todos en reiteración real entre sí, a la pena de 4 años y 4 meses de penitenciaria efectiva.
