ADEMÁS DE LA CAPITAL DEPARTAMENTAL, RÍO BRANCO, FRAILE MUERTO, TUPAMBAÉ, NOBLÍA Y ACEGUÁ TENDRÁN OPERATIVAS
El titular del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social confirmó que la segunda semana de marzo podrían iniciarse las operativas en el marco del programa socio educativo laboral Uruguay Trabaja.
Según informó Gervasio Rodríguez, el atraso en la firma del contrato entre MIDES y las organizaciones sociales participantes ha generado este retraso en el inicio del programa que este año se ejecuta tanto en Melo como en diferentes localidades del interior del departamento: “lamentablemente no se pudo empezar el año pasado pero el sorteo si se hizo en diciembre, hace unos días se hizo el sorteo para Aceguá, que había sido una de las poblaciones que había quedado vacante el llamado para organizaciones, y ahora la idea es poder arrancar la segunda semana de marzo; teníamos pensado arrancar la primera pero necesitamos firmar un contrato con las dos organizaciones civiles, que son Las Brujas y Educándonos, lamentablemente se atrasó un poquito el expediente, así que estamos esperando firmar ese contrato para ponernos a coordinar el inicio de las operativas con las organizaciones”, manifestó, explicando que en los primeros 7 a 10 días se desarrollarían algunas tareas de coordinación, con la participación de los técnicos de MIDES y de las osc, para luego si dar inicio con el programa propiamente dicho: “son 165 beneficiarios que se asignaron por sorteo en todo el departamento, también hay cupos para población afro, trans y discapacidad, así como algunos cupos directos por programas de MIDES como Uruguay Crece Contigo y demás”, señaló.
Este año el programa se va a ejecutar en la ciudad de Melo, Río Branco, Fraile Muerto, Tupambaé, Noblía y Aceguá: “ya están definidos los beneficiarios e incluso estuvimos hablando con los diferentes alcaldes, ya que la idea es que se trabaje muy de la mano con las las alcaldías y con la propia Intendencia”, indicó, aclarando que aún hay tiempo de presentarse como institución interesada en recibir alguna de estas operativas: “si alguna institución, organización o club en alguna de estas zonas no se anotó, se pueden seguir anotando en forma directa con nosotros y necesitamos de las alcaldías o municipios ya que muchas escuelas o clubes no pudieron hacer beneficios el año pasado, que dependían de esa caja para comprar los diferentes materiales, entonces las alcaldías ya se pudieron a disposición para ayudar justamente con los materiales, porque el programa pone la mano de obra y la institución que recibe la operativa tendría que poner los materiales”, expresó.
Rodríguez aclaró que en esta oportunidad el área educativa no le corresponderá a las osc, como tradicionalmente lo realizaban, sino que a partir de este año estará a cargo de las propias instituciones formales de educación: “en esta oportunidad hay un cambio con respecto al período pasado y es que antes la parte educativa se daba través de las osc pero a partir de ahora la osc se encarga solamente de la parte operativa y del trabajo, y los cursos serán brindados por instituciones que ya el Estado las tiene como UTU, Primaria, Secundaria, Ministerios, etcétera”, puntualizó.
El programa en la ciudad de Melo tendrá una extensión de 8 meses, en tanto para las localidades del interior se desarrollará durante 6 meses; los participantes percibirán una remuneración correspondiente a un salario mínimo nacional, dependiendo siempre de las horas trabajadas.
