15 NIÑOS SERÁN ATENDIDOS DE LUNES A VIERNES DE 18 A 23 HORAS
Este lunes comenzará a funcionar el centro de cuidados infantiles de la Intendencia de Cerro Largo.
En principio, 15 serán los niños atendidos por la guardería nocturna, que pretende ser un apoyo fundamentalmente para madres que estudian en horario de la noche.
Según informó la maestra Andrea da Silva, directora del centro Luna Mágica, el servicio estará operativo de lunes a viernes a partir de las 18 horas y hasta las 23, en instalaciones del Club Unión: “tenemos el cupo completo de 15 niños, que son los que vamos a empezar a atender, que sus mamás ya están empezando sus estudios, hay mamás que van a la UTU, otras que van al IFD y también mamás que van al Liceo nocturno pero en realidad el número de inscriptos fue superior, quedaron seleccionados estos 15 niños y con el resto se conformó una lista de espera por la posible rotación que se pueda generar”, manifestó, recordando que el servicio cuenta con el apoyo equipo multidisciplinario que tuvo a su cargo, entre otras tareas, la selección de los primeros participantes: “en este caso fueron todas mamás que solicitaron el servicio de la guardería, que como dijimos desde que empezó el proyecto tenían que ser estudiantes, que no tuvieran quien les cuidará a sus niños en ese horario y ese fue un poco el criterio general de la selección”, expresó.
El servicio está pensado para la atención de niños de 0 a 5 años: “la niña más chica que tenemos tiene 18 meses, luego una franja de entre dos a tres años, que es la mayor cantidad de niños que hay, hasta niños de cinco años”, puntualizó Da Silva.
