LA SITUACIÓN SANITARIA DEL DEPARTAMENTO AMERITÓ LA DECISIÓN DE LAS AUTORIDADES
La situación sanitaria que vive el departamento repercute en la actividad que estaba previsto desarrollará en el departamento el móvil odontológico, recientemente implementado para municipios y la capital departamental.
La Secretaria General Graciela Echenique confirmó que siguiendo las recomendaciones nacionales y departamentales, y teniendo en cuenta también lo dispuesto por parte de las instituciones de salud, tanto pública como privada, el Departamento Médico de la Intendencia resolvió suspender la atención del móvil hasta nuevo aviso: “no podemos andar con el móvil circulando por todo el departamento, por lo que resolvimos suspender este servicio hasta después de Semana Santa, cuando seguramente haya unas cuantas personas más vacunadas”, manifestó la jerarca, quien destacó la altísima demanda que el servicio ha tenido en estos primeros días de trabajo: “ha tenido una demanda enorme, es muchísima la gente que se anota, realmente ha sido muy importante la demanda, nos damos cuenta de la necesidad que había de que existiera este servicio, así que contentos, esperando que esto se vaya solucionando para poder continuar con normalidad, porque realmente era necesario”, señaló.
Echenique aclaró que teniendo en cuenta esta decisión, no se estarán tomando nuevas agendas: “vamos a esperar a retomar porque ojalá esto se empiece a solucionar pero también tenemos que incluir a Río Branco, que se sumó al proyecto, por lo que ahora están todos los Municipios participando, así que sin dudas vamos a tener que hacer una agenda nueva”, sentenció.
